Kelsey has been part of New Song Community Church since 2008 and has served as pastor since 2019. She loves creating spaces where people can ask honest questions, grow in their faith, and discover what it looks like to follow Jesus in ways that bring more love, justice, and hope into the world.

Kelsey earned her Master’s degree in Theology and Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary and holds a degree in English Language Arts and Secondary Education from Whitworth University. Before becoming a pastor, she taught high school English—a background that still shows up in her love of stories, good conversations, and finding new ways to communicate ancient truths.

Kelsey is married to Kyle, and together they have two kids, Brooklyn and Hudson. Outside of church, you’ll usually find her planning the next family trip, trying new foods, enjoying musical theater, or spending time with the people she loves.
